Microsoft Geneva BETA 2 Ships with new goodies!

Monday, Microsoft shipped Beta 2 the Geneva Claims Server with some interesting new goodies.

1. Federated document Collaboration with SharePoint 2007. Sharing documents inside and outside a user’s organization will be much simpler.
2. Visual Studio Templates providing pre-built security logic and .NET componants.
3. One-click Geneva to Federation Gateway setup to extend Active Directory identities to cloud based services!
4. Automatic provisioning of InfoCards for use with the Geneva client giving end-users seemless SSO (Single Signon) experinece to Claims aware applications.
5. Claims transformation engine to source claims from AD, SQL & other attribute stores.
6. Expanded SAML support, added were support for WS-Trust & WS-Federation.

Microsoft® Windows® Vista SP1 or Microsoft® Windows Server 2008 or Microsoft® Windows Server 2003 SP-2 (32-bit or 64-bit).
Microsoft® Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.0 and 6.0.
Microsoft® .NET Framework 3.5.
Visual Studio 2005 or Visual Studio 2008.
