On December 3rd, Microsoft beefed-up its security offering by launching Threat Management Gateway and Unified Access Gateways under the Forefront brand. Threat Gateway provides web client security while Unified Access Gateway provides computer management for remote users. Forefront, Microsoft’s security brand, has been growing steadily over the past several years to include Anti-virus, anti-malware, remote machine management. End-point security and Identity Manager were to have been released last year, now delayed are supposed to ship in mid to late 2010.
