New ADAC for Windows R2, missing Exchange features
Along with a number of great improvements in Windows Server 2008 R2 came a couple of surprises. For those of you who use the Active Directory Users and Computers console, an improved replacement has been added. This new interface makes many tasks easier and the technology underneath is PowerShell rather than ADSI, but some users are being challenged with its use.
One glaring regressions is the lack of integration with Microsoft Exchange. The former Active Directory Users and Computers UI had extensions that would expose the critical attributes necessary to perform recipient management. This was handy for many people and its absence is already being mentioned. I would guess that eventually the Microsoft Exchange team will provide this, but so far it has been a no-show.

I think that the recipient management is very well addressed via EMS (PowerShell), anybody considering to go for 08 R2 should have already been running Exchange 2007 (atleast) and been aware of EMS. I would be surprise if the ADAC will be extended to cover Exchange.
It is pretty natural when you create a new user or group to then also want to set logon, profile or other data (including Exchange properties) without having to open a second console and do a lookup. This gets even worse if you have third part extensions for two factor authorization or biometrics etc…
