SUN Announced first 1500 of 6000 layoffs
It looks like IBM’s offer for SUN was perfectly timed. Sun announced 1500 employees have been let go as part of the restructuring that will eventually reduce their workforce by 18%. According to SUN, eventually, 5000 to 6000 employees will be let go.
